Higher Institute for Applied Science and Technology
The Higher Institute for Applied Science and Technology (HIAST) (Arabic: المعهد العالي للعلوم التطبيقية والتكنولوجيا) is an engineering and technology institute in Damascus, Syria. It was founded in 1983 and offers the degrees of Graduate Diploma, Master and Doctorate.
It conducts research jointly with several public and private organizations in Syria, as well as on the regional and international levels.
